Review: I actually liked this book but I did get really frustrated with how the author was stretching out the anticipation between the two finding out what they are. Then when she figured it out, she got stupid with it.

I also really didn’t like that they spent so much time just….staring at each other and exploring the same feelings over and over. It just started to get awkward and then because of that, I didn’t feel a strong connection between them.

The writing was great in places but in others, not very. I liked the story but had some problems with it, the cover is pretty intense but doesn’t really convey how intense Devon looks when he’s described in the story.

It just seemed odd that these Hunters had no idea about Devon and I wanted to know more about Devon’s past. Maybe that’s explained in the next books though.

The pace was a bit slow for the story, and I just got a special snowflake vibe from Cassie through the whole thing.
