I’ve read this before, back in 2011 and I apparently liked it because when I opened it on my Kindle it was at 100%. I just couldn’t remember anything about it so, I gave it another shot. I liked it before, maybe I’ll like it again.
Wrong. I couldn’t finish it, I made it to Chapter 11 and had to put it down, I was so bored. The idea is a good one, the execution is not. It barely focused on the plot, it was mainly confused looks that had fear mixed in and wanting to get away from her but riling her up to get what he wants.
I couldn’t really stand the main character, Ashley. She was the one with the confused looks that had fear mixed in. Yes, her childhood wasn’t good but goodness she couldn’t even keep her thoughts together when he was around. Now there are books where she’s distracted by the guy but she at least can stand up to him and keep her wits about her. Not Ashely.
I don’t really know how to go on about this book, I was bored and irritated at everything so I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for reading my review.
