Blurb: Three siblings fight to survive in a zombie infested world. When they get caught in a flood during a rainstorm, the group is forced to take refuge. They are thrust into a mystery they can’t explain, and when things slowly begin to unravel, they learn they have to play by a new set of rules.
Review: Eh, it was alright, I liked it but I didn’t really get all that into it.
A little different from other zombie stuff that I’ve seen in how they turn when they’ve been bitten or scratched.
Not as good as the authors book Eternal Vows but much better than her other book Crush, somewhere in the middle.
Took me a little while to read this, I’ve usually been able to read the books in this Enchanted Box Set in about a day and it’s where I’ve been reading all of the books from Eternal Vows to this one, except for The Waiting Room.
The reason it took me a little bit to read this was because it was mostly dialogue and a journey with little bits of action mixed in. It was a little long because of that and a little boring in places.
Don’t get me wrong, I still liked it but I just couldn’t really get into it. The descriptions weren’t really there, except for the zombies and one of the girls hair so I couldn’t really see what they looked like in my mind.
It was a good read and for those interested in zombies, this is a good book to get into it. I think I may just be a little desensitized to them right now with all of the zombie hype.
Thank you for reading my review.
