Is their fate already sealed? Can they find a cure before it’s too late? See what happens through the eyes of the infected when Cassie tells you how Zombies are people too.
Review: …I can’t. I just…I cannot make myself finish this book. I can’t even get to where she actually turns into a zombie. This is yet another case of finding a book just to fill out the alphabetized book journal. I recently purchased another book journal, and this one has 14 pages for every letter, so you better believe I’m going to do some more research before I end up going into another slump because I just downloaded based on the title.
Back to the review!
There was one piece of media that I feel did this concept very well, I really enjoyed that show. iZombie. I feel like that did the whole ‘zombies are people too’ thing much better than this story did. I mean, I binged iZombie and finished it while I couldn’t even finish this.
This was…I don’t even have any words for this, this is how bad it was.
The reactions to a zombie outbreak was very underwhelming, there was no sense of urgency whatsoever. They still had time to flirt and daydream right in front of the person they were daydreaming about. Good lord, this book put me right back in a slump. It took me almost a month to even write the review down in my journal and almost a year since I wrote it down to put it here on my blog.
Smelled very much like a fanfic to me, like I was on Wattpad or something.
If you’re going to have your protagonist flirt and daydream…do that after. After the outbreak, when they actually should have some time to do it. While they’re someplace safe and things have died down some. Not while they’re hiding from a horde of zombies and have been bitten themselves.
10/10 do not recommend.
Thank you for reading my review!
