Blurb: A deranged leader self-chosen to propel the Soviet Union to sole superpower.

A cunning kingpin determined to revive a perilous global arms race.

A Champions Program in its final days — and harboring a traitor.

A doomsday device called the Dead Hand.

A countdown to all-out war.

This is it.

Review: This was the longest book, but it didn’t really feel like it. I loved the story and the ending was pretty emotional, I could feel myself tearing up.

I love the cover on this one, really giving me the X-Men vibes that the author is going for. I really enjoyed this series and I’m so sad to see it end, I couldn’t imagine being there for when they came out and having to wait for the next book to come out.

I really want to check out his other series, this is how much the books have resonated with me. I want to see the other stories and see how they differ.

The writing was seamless, the emotion was there in every page in every book, I never had to worry about that. I was put on the edge of my seat more than once.

I’m really glad that I stumbled across this series and that I could read these on Kindle Unlimited. I would gladly recommend this series to anyone who will listen and give me the time of day.

It feels like when you’re done watching a long TV show and now, you don’t know what to do with your life.

I wasn’t as shocked as I probably should have been, in some spots because it wasn’t as surprising because something felt off, so I’m glad I was able to sus that out, the ending had my emotional and I was pretty close to tearing up.

All-in-all, this series is amazing, I’m so happy that I was able to read it and I urge everyone to give this series a shot.

Thank you for reading my review.
