Blurb: The paparazzi can’t get enough of infamous bad boy Giovanni Ferraro. But unknown to them–and the women he beds–he’s just playing a role. Keeping the spotlight on himself keeps it off the family business. And if this lethal shadow rider can’t hunt in the dark, he’ll find his pleasure elsewhere…

Sasha Provis grew up on a Wyoming ranch and thought she knew how to protect herself from predators. But in the nightclub where she works, she’s fair game–until one of the owners steps in to protect her. Giovanni is gorgeous. He’s dangerous. And his every touch takes her breath away.

The devil at her heels may have finally met its match…

Review: In my review of Shadow Reaper, I have a comment in my journal that I didn’t put in the review. It was that I did like the it took a while for the…intimate parts to come into play. It took like..half the book? Or longer. Well, I feel like I spoke too soon about that taking a while to happen. This got right into it at like…chapter 6, I think? I can see where people are coming from when they make negative comments about these kinds of stories, but I also feel like it doesn’t negate the story that’s there.

I am very happy that we finally have a female lead that’s not a shrinking violet and isn’t not afraid of being a sexual creature. She’s not afraid to stand up for herself and her brother and she even stood up to his mom when the females of the other books really haven’t. I wanted to cheer when that happened.

I feel like I had a lot more to say about Shadow Reaper, but that’s mostly because there were things that I didn’t get or that didn’t seem to make sense, but I didn’t really get that here and I’m happy about that.

Reading these kinds of series, I’m usually excited about the one that everyone else is worried about. That’s usually the best, but the one that everyone seemed worried about was Shadow Reaper and I really enjoyed this book more than that one.

Besides the sex clogging up the story, everything else was very engaging and kept me coming back for more. I felt like this one was different and I really love that.

Thank you for reading my review.
