Blurb: A brutal education in a Russian training facility for assassins has taught this group of men one thing: It’s a long road to redemption...
As the enforcer of the Torpedo Ink motorcycle club, Reaper lives for riding and fighting. He’s a stone-cold killer who turns his wrath on those who deserve it. Feelings are a weakness he can’t afford–until a gorgeous bartender gets under his skin…
Near Sea Haven, the small town of Caspar has given Anya Rafferty a new lease on life. And she’s desperate to hold on to her job at the biker bar, even if the scariest member of the club seems to have it out for her. But Reaper’s imposing presence and smoldering looks just ratchet up the heat.
Anya’s touch is everything Reaper doesn’t want–and it brands him to the bone. But when her secrets catch up to her, Reaper will have to choose between Anya and his club–his heart and his soul.
Review: I actually really enjoyed this book. I know most people would be up in arms about the questioning that Anya went through, but really…that’s nowhere near what other characters have gone through, Elle being one that comes to mind. So it didn’t really register in my lizard brain as ‘what is she doing to her characters!?’ So..I don’t know.
I had grown to care for Reaper in Bound Together and I absolutely love that the first book of the spin off series is about him. He really reminds me of Gregory.
So full of emotion that I could not put this book down. I love the angst, I live for the angst. I wanted to keep reading and I cannot wait for the other books.
The pacing was great, the excitement and suspense was great. I was a little worried about there being a big baddie in this series, but…it seems like we have another biker gang to keep us on the edge of our seats?
Also, I guess I’ve been spoiled by everyone in all of her books being in each others heads so…I’m really enjoying the fact that for all intents and purposes…this is just…a regular, ordinary relationship. Well, as ordinary as it can get, but they aren’t all up in each others business. There’s misunderstandings, so there’s communication to clear it up.
Reaper breaks my heart, just like Gregory, I love him. I hope the others are as good, hopefully better?? He’s my favorite though. I am confident enough in that statement to say it on the first book. He’s my baby and he needs to be protected at all costs.
Thank you for reading my review.
