Review: Short little novella so it’s going to be a short review. Plus, what I wrote down in my journal kinda gives a bit of spoilers for other books. Even if you would have probably read the others before reading this, I’m not comfortable putting what I put in my journal on here. I think I was writing it when I was so close to getting burnt out and just not actively thinking about how I would spin it on here. Anyways, back to the short review.
There was so much emotion in this very short novella, I’m surprised that I didn’t tear up. The cover is generic but, I am glad to see the cat that their focusing on, which is not always the case for the main books.
The writing was captivating and drug me right into an emotional roller-coaster with a pace that flows like water to move the story along. This one has to be one of my favorites.
Now the novellas can be read wherever during the series, some of them are in a weird place, like Hollyleafs Story, so you kind of have to make your own decisions on when to read them. Usually it’s a big no-no to read books out of order but in this case, even though these books are numbered, I would recommend finding where they belong in the story and reading them as you read the main books, you get all the information that way.
Thank you for reading my review.
