Blurb: What if courage was your only option?

When Kallie lands a college interview with the city’s new hot-shot police officer she has no idea everything in her life is about to change. The detective is young, handsome and seems to have an unnatural ability to stop the increasing local crime rate.

When a raging blood feud between vampires spills into her home, Kallie gets caught in the middle.

Review: I had completely forgotten about writing a review for this book. I had started it May 19, 2017, stopped reading it the same day and started writing the review on the 23rd. That should say something about how compelling I thought this book was.

I don’t know what happened to the author of the first two books I liked but goodness, I don’t think I’ll be reading any more books by this author, it’s the second book to be put in the DNF pile.

The writing is alright, the beginning was actually good but then, downhill it goes. The intimacy was just placed in the wrong area, I mean she’s freaking out and yet they’re all over each other? I don’t think so.

I felt very disconnected from it and I can’t remember the spot I decided to stop. The cover isn’t very exciting, pretty generic. Oh hey, a photoshopped looking Barbie trying to look edgy, edgelord beside her and the edgiest of backgrounds.

edgy

I would not be recommending this to anyone and, as I said, I will most likely be avoiding books by this author in the future.

Thank you for reading my review.
