Blurb: I was a simple farm girl living in the magical land, Alyria, where men ruled and women only existed.

Call me sheltered. Call me naïve. I was probably both. I never expected to be the key to Alyria’s destruction.

The journey I was on wasn’t only one to save me. But one where I had a lot of learning to do. With men. With magic. And with myself.

But I wasn’t alone. I had an escort. One I wasn’t so sure about. But one I couldn’t afford to lose and one I wasn’t so sure I could even leave.

I had many hopes. But the most important one was that my name wouldn’t become my fate.

Review: What? What!? You cannot leave it on that much of a cliffhanger! What the hell!? I need more!

I really didn’t think that I would enjoy this book that so much. The title kind of made me hesitate and the blurb was very choppy. The inside though, the story itself, is simply amazing. Oh my goat, I was hooked, I was enchanted. Not because the story itself is enchanting, oh no it is very bloody, because this author knows how to entrap the reader.

I was not expecting that ending at all. I mean what the hell!? It’s a pretty great book when I have that reaction and I haven’t had that reaction in a long time.

A sassy assassin and a sassy but naïve girl that can dish out what she’s being served. This was amazing.

No typos that I recall but there were just a few places that seemed like they needed some umph, it never got boring though. The flow was a little fast moving but still quite an amazing book.

I would whole heartedly recommend giving this book a read. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you for reading my review.
