Blurb: ThunderClan’s darkest hour is upon them, as Tigerstar’s quest for power plunges all the Clans into the most terrible danger any cat has ever faced. In order to save his Clan and his friends, Fireheart must uncover the meaning of an ominous proclamation from StarClan:

“Four will become two. Lion and tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule the forest.”

The time has come for prophecies to unfold, and for heroes to rise.

Review: This series is just going to keep making me cry. I have a love/hate relationship with this series. The tension with Tigerstar had been building for six books and it finally comes to a climax, ending in a twist that the readers did not see coming.

There was one typo that I can remember, the writer said Tigerpaw instead of Tigerclaw but that’s the only thing that really comes to mind.

I could not put this book down, I read it in a day and I had completely forgotten about what happens to Whitestorm near the end until he started talking to Firestar like he was saying goodbye. Then when it got to Bone holding down a cat…I could not turn the page, I did not want to read it but I had to.

I hate that I get so attached to these fictional cats that I cry when they die but I also have to applaud the authors for creating a world and their skill for dragging me in and making me so emotional over these fictional cats.

The new cover is amazing, though I do wish they had kept the lion in there, it kind of set the tone for Lionclan but oh well. The pace is perfect for the plot and it’s like an emotional rollercoaster.

Thank you for reading my review.
