Blurb: The last thing Barb expected was to fall in love. When a simple archaeological dig turns into a steamy night with a dragon shifter, she tells herself it’s just a fling. But when everything goes wrong, from stolen remains to fights with other shifters, she realizes there’s more to her feelings than she thought.
Can she overcome her own personal demons to be with the man she loves?
Review: Very first chapter, the author mixes up the name of the human mate Amy with the last name of Kate. With the few typos and name changes, I feel like another read through or having a friend or family member read could have been very helpful.
I did enjoy the mystery but I just didn’t really like Barb, she was too quick to pass snap judgment on Josh. Plus, I had the feeling that I was waiting for this couple when I saw them interacting in the last book, but I don’t know, I was a little disappointed.
Mostly because I got used to the couple being completely in love and already living together so when she was still fighting, it just kind of dragged on. I just didn’t really enjoy this book as much as I did in the other books besides the first one.
Thank you for reading my review.
