Blurb: Aaron is on the hunt. With big plans to save his village, all he cares about is ridding the world of one vengeful dragon leader, Aiden. Getting to Aiden is easy, but beating him in a death match is a whole other ordeal. All he wants to do is rid this place of darkness, but there’s just one problem, and her name is Kate. She’s been around his entire life, but only now are his feelings starting to blossom.
All Kate wants to do is live a life in peace, and the center of it all is Aaron. Tall, sexy, and protective, he’s calling to her heart in ways she never thought possible. Once just a friend, she’s falling for a man who’s about to put his life at risk. Can she do nothing to convince him otherwise?
Review: I would say that his book is better than the first two but after it seemed like the book was going to end, it just went on and on. Also, there were a couple of instances of name switches, Owen where Aaron should be and Emily where Kate should be so that threw me off.
I’m still loving the sense of time the author has going and I really enjoyed the fact that Aaron and Kate were childhood friends and gave the readers that cute, funny little flashback that was also important for the plot.
I am also still loving the covers but I will admit that the covers lead me to believe that the story inside would be epic but it was a bit of a let down. The pace for the plot was great until near the end when it just seemed to drag a bit.
I would recommend this to adults who enjoy fantasy and romance.
Thank you for reading my review.
