Blurb: He killed my father.

Living peacefully in the Mourne Mountains of Ireland, Connor’s life completely changes when he learns the truth behind his father’s death. Out for vengeance, there’s just one thing in his way, and her name is Emily. She’s a new dragon in town and he can’t keep his eyes off her. Will he risk it all for revenge or can Emily change his mind before it’s too late?

Review: Sam, why are there two covers and why is your purchased a little confusing? I’m glad you asked. At first, the author was only doing one short story for the first book in her dragon series and you would only be able to get it by going to her website. Then, I guess, a lot of readers wanted more out of it so she decided to make it longer, give it a different cover, hence why there are two covers up there, and publish it on Amazon. So what did I do when I saw that it was longer and on Amazon? When I saw that it was free, I downloaded it so I could read it right after my complimentary copy to see what was different so, my review is going to be about both copies.

This was alright. I read both the first novella and the re-written, longer one and the story was interesting but the writing really could have been a little bit better. I mean, I have an idea about what the characters look like but there could have been more description, could have painted more of a picture.

I am really glad that she wrote it again and added the backstory for the little mystery the brothers had to go through, it added a bit more flavor to it, made it just a little more interesting.

The two covers are competing for my favorites but the second one does have my favorite colors, black and purple.

The pace, for the second one, is excellent for the story, the first one seemed rushed. For the second one, there are four more stories that come with it but I haven’t read those yet, I was only going for the first one so, maybe I’ll get to those at a later date but I am slightly interested in the books continuing the Exiled Dragons series that I received from the author.

I would recommend for those who are interested in a quick read with simple writing.

Thank you for reading my review.
