Blurb: One glimpse and I’m hooked. One Kiss is all I need.

I ruined Kim’s life before I even said hello. Life has taught me one thing: guys like me don’t get second chances. I never wanted one. Not until I saw Kim’s face.

Kimberly Sawyers is a good girl, and she lives next door. The more she pushes me away, the more my body aches for her. I can’t sleep. I can’t think. I need her. I need to taste her pinks, and I need to possess her curves. I’m going to make her moan like no man ever has.

The problem? We have a past.

Now I’m undercover, and Kim’s my mission. I’ve put my girl in mortal danger. I’m going to protect her, whatever it takes.

It’s Kim’s first time. She’s my second chance.

Review: I’m slightly disappointed in this book, I didn’t connect with the characters at all and it just seemed cold.

Her mob series is exciting and gritty. I think that’s what was missing, the gritty alpha male. Nate just didn’t feel like that much of an alpha male to me. I mean, he growled and stuff but I just couldn’t see it.

Maybe I couldn’t see it because the romance was overshadowed by the plot. I didn’t get much time with the couple so when they were saying their I love you’s, it felt rushed and not real.

Honestly, parts of the story didn’t feel real either, mostly her bosses. I mean, if your boss is that creepy and talks like that to you, you get out and find somewhere else or report him.

I was just rolling my eyes when they interacted. Like I said, compared to her mob series, I’m rather disappointed in this. I’ll give it 2.5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review.
