This is not something that I’ve thought a lot about, not like my other personal posts it’s just something that has been in the back of my head. I was just thinking about Dark Predator and the cover of Sound of Silence by Disturbed and how I thought that the singers voice was perfect for Zacarias and that the song was perfect for his big fight.

There was also another book, Rae of Hope, that I read a while back and at the back of the book, there was a list of songs for that the reader could listen to for each chapter. I thought that was a good idea but it would have been an even better one to put that list at the beginning of the book so that way, the reader could listen to those songs while reading the book for the first time, get the full experience. I haven’t re-read the book yet but I don’t think I’ll get the same experience I would have had when reading it the first time.

I’m really not that big into music, I mainly just listen to the radio in the car or my iPod when I remember to charge it but, I do notice that some songs match at least one scene in a book.

Do you have music that you listen too when you’re reading? Do you just pick a song or do you have a playlist? Do you have a certain song that matches a scene or a character like I do with Dark Predator?
