Blurb: From afar, Sheriff Jackson Deveau has always loved Elle Drake, the youngest telepath of seven sisters. After a long time away she’s finally returning home to the small coastal village of Sea Haven. But someone has been following Elle, someone who doesn’t want her to make it back. And when Elle fails to arrive, her disappearance strikes fear in the hearts of everyone who loves her. Now it’s left to Jackson to uncover the mystery of Elle’s vanishing, and rescue her from an unseen danger. But Sea Haven is no longer safe for anyone, and it’ll take the powers of all the Drake sisters and their men to survive the coming storm.

Review: This is my favorite Drake Sister book and I’m probably going to get a lot of flack for that but the first part isn’t my favorite. It’s what happens in the recovery that’s my favorite, learning more about Jackson and seeing his emotional side. Especially when he talks about being the Papa Bear, my heart actually melted.

I hated that Elle went through what she did but I feel like it was needed so that she could understand what Jackson had gone through and so that she could see the difference between what she thought Jackson wanted from her and what he actually wanted.

I know that Jackson is supposed to come face to face with the bodyguard in Bound Together in the Sisters of the Heart series but what about the price on his head? Is there going to be any resolution with that?

The cover is beautiful, the pace is perfect for the plot, healing with a little psychic action.

It was also great to see all the men together, I really would have liked to read Ty’s thought about the other men when they got to plotting.

I think this is the most emotional out of the Drake Sister books, I pretty much had my hand on my heart the whole time when they weren’t being attacked.

A great ending to a good series and a great beginning to the spin off for the Sisters of the Heart series.

Thank you for reading my review.
