Blurb: Maybe no one can love a beast,

But then…

They haven’t met Jack Stone. Jack Stone is rough, c*cky and arrogant. Not only is he a jock, but he is a jock with a bad temper. I know I will have to keep this one under a tight leash! The closer I get to the arrogant monster, the harder I fall for the passionate man underneath – Crude, charming, tough, dangerous, sweet…. and then, my baby girl also can’t seem to resist his charm! Do I risk my father’s reputation for this badass quarterback or do I protect the man who deserves a happily ever after? Wait…he deserves a happily ever after, doesn’t he? And so do I….

Review: As with her last book, this is only for book and I haven’t read the other two that came with it. Unlike with her last book however, I really felt something for these characters, even though I think this one is a little shorter.

Maybe it’s because of what’s going on with Jack and the readers basically have access to his emotions but I really enjoyed this book. The writing just seemed better here, maybe because it felt like the author broke through the emotional surface and I felt the connection.

I didn’t want this to end, I wanted to keep reading this story. The writing was simple, not very descriptive but with how short the story is, it actually works and makes way for the emotions and the connections.

The cover is amazing, the pace fir the plot is a little fast but again, with how short it is, I understand. At least they weren’t saying I love you to each other so soon but what happened at the end was just a tad fast. It didn’t seem like it was going to happen soon though.

There were only two typos that really stood out to me but otherwise, it was a good little short read.

Thank you for reading my review.
