Blurb: I want Aspen Thomas, and I ALWAYS get what I want.
The name, Blake Landon, is golden in this town. Almost everybody knows me as the best in my job – and any job, for that matter!
More than my good name, I possess the looks, power and money that can entice any woman to slide my Harley between her legs and take a ride. I want to make my move once again…
Well, let’s just say that this time it didn’t go right…
Aspen is a tough nut to crack.
And yet, my heart tells me that I can claim her.
She can try reasoning with me, play cold with me, act super arrogant…..but nothing, absolutely nothing can prevent her from being SEALED BY DESIRE!
Review: This was so short but I feel like any more would have been too much. I didn’t read the other two books that come with it though, I will read them at a later date but not right now, so this review is only for Sealed By Desire.
Usually when I read a book like this, I’m instantly sucked in but the writing just didn’t have the same effect on me in this book, it just didn’t seem strong enough.
I can tell that it was supposed to be emotional but I feel like the author didn’t go deep enough for the readers. It felt like the author tried to break through the surface but she just didn’t scratch hard enough.
In fact, I have to take back my earlier statement about the book being alright with how short it is. I think there should have been more to get a more secure connection to the characters. I felt a little something for them but not enough to really get me sucked in.
I think a four star rating is perfect for this story, I loved it but as you can see, I did have some problems with it. The main thing was that I couldn’t get a strong connection with the characters and the writing isn’t as strong as I think it should be, it was a little too simple for my tastes but that is just my opinion.
It’s a nice little short read that I’m sure I would have finished in one day if I had started it earlier instead of on break at work and I was just too tired after to keep reading when I got back home. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a quickie read and enjoy a quick little romance.
Thank you for reading my review.
