I was surprised and I loved this book. Nothing paranormal about it but it was just written so well and it was just so good, I want more.
Even though it’s rather short, not by a lot but still, a whole story is packed in. There’s a mystery that hooks the reader right away, teasing and flirting, some funny moments, characters that blush, and an intense climax near the end along with an emotional break down.
Even though it was a little repetitive where the couple was concerned, I understand it and I actually really liked it. I would be struggling with my decision too if I were Helen. If that wasn’t there and she quickly and completely accepted him coming back into her life, I would have been so ticked and it wouldn’t have been as good.
I really loved the way this story was written, the stuttering and when they stopped saying what they were thinking just made it seem more real, it was like I was completely inside their heads.
The connection between the characters is very strong and I loved that even while she was still struggling with the emotional side of things, she didn’t fight against the physical very long.
Thank you for reading my review.
