I loved this book. I actually had no problems with this, I found it emotional, full of mystery and I loved that the other characters played roles here.
New characters this time, with absolutely no connection or ties to the others, the author could have left them out all together but I’m really glad she didn’t.
Even though the plot was a fairly big one, I really loved that the couple spent time together that the readers could see. After they got everything worked out, with the help of Corinne, I love that she played so big of a role here and I wish Luc could have made an appearance, the couple was really cute to watch together.
With what’s been said about the tiger shifters, Nic being sweet and gentle when she was upset, after their big argument, was amazing and I think I squealed when he called her Sassy girl.
The mystery was intriguing and kept me guessing. The culprit was surprising and I feel like the ending to the mystery fit. It wasn’t anticlimactic or anything, it worked.
The actual ending was cute and very, very happy. All-in-all, the pace of the story was excellent, the writing as well and the romance was cute outside of the bedroom. This has got to be the best Christine Warren book I’ve read, along with Big Bad Wolf.
Thank you for reading my review.
