First off, let me talk about that cover. I don’t know what it is about muscular men in a tight white shirt but
I have been looking forward to this story since seeing Ian and Kira in the Elite Ops series. I know, I know, the Elite Ops are after the Tempting SEALs but, I got Wild Card first from the free bin so, that’s how I read them.
This story did not disappoint, even though it wasn’t five stars in my book, and I tell you I struggled with this rating.
The only reason I gave it four stars is because the ending was a bit anti-climatic. It didn’t pan out how I thought it would.
If you’re looking for a story with several plot twists and two characters with alpha personalities, you’ve come to the right place. Of course some of those plot twists were predictable but, it was written in a way that wasn’t boring so, I’m sticking with my rating.
I actually feel like this is what I wanted for the story, especially after what happened in the ending of Hidden Agendas. Except for part of the ending, that was what was anti-climatic for me. The ending was only half of what I was expecting, though not who I was expecting.
Thank you for reading my review.
