This was not what I expected. The teaser does not prepare you for what happens in this book. Be prepared for some Dom/Sub action. This author is a little more intense than others I’ve read, and I’ve read a few intense books but I guess I’m just not used to it.
There were a few typos and a mix up of the Arm and Navy but, that aside, I found that I rather enjoyed this book.
I did get a little frustrated with Morgana a bit, when they were acting to try and draw out the bad guys. I know it was supposed to be an act but she could have put in a little effort to act a bit more curious about the lifestyle than she let on instead of basically storming out at the first chance.
There was a couple of reviews that I read that said Clint wasn’t acting like a Dom outside of the club but I liked that about the book. It wouldn’t have worked with Morgana’s personality and would have just seemed forced outside of the club.
There’s a time and a place for that and they were falling in love, or at least finally admitting their feelings for one another.
When the action got serious, Morgana was a bit of a brat before she finally realized that that life wasn’t for her.
Thank you for reading my reviews.
