Alright, for some reason there seems to be some difficulty in where this book belongs in the order, Amazon says number 6, Goodreads says number 7 but, I think I’m going to be going with the authors website and say that it’s number 8.
Now, on to my review.
First off, I loved the teaser on the back of the book. If you want to know what it is, click here, everywhere else is the usual teaser.
Reading this after not finishing Silent Truth, I have to say it’s not looking good for Dianna Love because I loved this book so Sherrilyn Kenyon wasn’t the one to make that book boring. I was not bored once with this.
I do wish I could have read this in order even though it can be read as a stand alone, the others are mentioned enough that I felt like I was missing out. Even though I was reading this out of order, I got attached to the characters pretty easily.
Usually, if it’s really obvious that it’s a series, I can’t get connected because I’m wondering who’s who and what happened before but it was easy to feel the connection.
I was halfway through the book before I even realized that I was that far into it.
It was funny, I was laughing for the first half of the book and then, the author has to go and make me cry.
This book is a real testament to opposites attract and I can’t wait to read more of these books.
Thank you for reading my review.
