☆☆☆☆/5
I liked it but I didn’t get sucked in until almost near the end and that’s why I’m giving it four stars instead of three because I really liked the ending.
I would have loved to find out more about the Bloodstones but maybe that’ll be in the next book.
The writing was fairly simple, with enough detail to keep me reading.
I couldn’t really feel a connection to the characters or their love story until near the end, even then it was faint. They fought and stayed away from each other more than they got to know each other so it was just a little unrealistic when they said I love you.
It was an alright read, nothing to really scream from the rooftops. The teaser for the book makes it sound more exciting than it is, which was a little disappointing however, it was still good enough for me to want to finish.
I would say that it’s for fans of time travel but that makes it sound like they’re hopping all over the place, which isn’t true so, I guess I would say that it’s for fans of a little bit of time travel with a frustrating love story.
Thank you for reading my review.
