Another interesting take on the genre of vampires. I guess I just haven’t read enough vampire fiction because the ones I’ve been reading have all been different and unique.

Honestly, there was only one thing I didn’t quite like and it was that Charlie didn’t want to keep being treated like a child but she acted like a child and she did not really think for herself until near the end of the book, she just kind of believed whatever anyone told her.

Otherwise, this was great. While I was mad at the main character, I was still so engrossed in the book that I finished it in day. The writing was beautiful and it just draws the reader into this world that doesn’t understand something different. It’s relatable in a sense, especially since it’s set just two years before 2015.

Now, while I did say something about how I didn’t like how Charlie acted, I can kind of understand why she listened to the wrong people. It’s hard to listen to anybody else when you’ve grown up thinking something was one thing when it really isn’t but still, the way she acted was childish. You don’t want to be treated like a child, stop acting like a child.

I would say that this would be a good vampire book for just about anyone, well anyone who isn’t sensitive to a lot of gore. One thing I will tell you is that there is a lot of death and blood.

Thank you for reading my review.
