☆☆☆/5
I didn’t love it but I liked it, the book had its moments but I couldn’t really connect to the characters, at least not romantically.
I think it just happened way too fast, barely even twenty-four hours before they’re kissing and acting like a couple. I don’t know about anyone else but I like the chase, I need it. Don’t give me couple stuff right off the bat, especially if she doesn’t trust men.
Give me the distrustful feelings, looks that heat the blood but don’t give in just yet. Let them get to know each other a little better and connect. Give me angst, make me chase after it.
Besides that, it was alright. A few funny and anxious parts, I wasn’t bored but, since I couldn’t connect all the way, I lost some of the joy I have when reading really great books and that’s what this could have been if the author had taken just a little more time on the courting.
Thank you for reading my review.
